ABOUT ELSITA

Elsita offers a practical modern approach to her clients, infused with South American tradition.

She is passionate about anatomy & physiology, the body’s capacity to self-heal, the benefits of plants, nature, nutrition as medicine & sensory enrichment; yet also the importance of spiritual and energetic hygiene, as part of a holistic and organised approach to lifestyle, interior & property design and management, for our overall wellbeing.


Elsita feels fortunate to have been taught powerful healing techniques and modalities for cultivating confidence and purpose.


Elsita is also known as ‘the Animal Curandera’ for her strong connection to the Animal-Spirit world, their medicine, in addition to working with both animals and humans.

Elsita comes from a grandmother lineage of
mestiza women healers

Her lineage is Chibcha from the Andes.

Elsita’s great-grandmother and grandmother were curanderas and parteras (traditional healers and midwives) of the indigenous mounains (Muisca and Panche tribes) of Cundinamarca, Colombia, where her family is from and still resides. For generations her family have traditionally grown and harvested Cacao (roasting it on the outdoor wood-fire before grinding it by stone), Tabaco and other sacred medicines.


Through years of traditional apprenticeship, Elsita is being initiated by her elders to walk the path of the ancient ways of the Ancestors. She is a guardian of sacred Cacao, a shamanic and energy-medicine healer, a channel, a medical and nutritional intuitive, a ceremonial guardian and leader, a certified health kinesiologist, and an animal & equine healer and communicator.
She also has an intrinsic ability to structure and organise.


Elsita dedicates her service to the Ancestors, sacred medicine, plant spirits, animals spirits, and sacred energy medicine, which she channels and weaves during her client sessions.

She continually enjoys researching topics in between client sessions, within and around her field including that of the land and its indigenous Caretakers; and of course making time to further work on herself in both shadow and light work.


Elsita feels these are instrumental and essential as a healer, and for her own wellbeing.

Elsita was born in Colombia and has lived internationally
In the French countryside, USA’s suburbs and coastal plain, the Canary Islands and mainland Spain, UK & Colombia’s urban jungle, as well as the Caribbean sea, Pacific ocean, the Andes, Mexico, and South America’s jungles, all of which has given her an appreciation of the needs & dynamics of a multicultural society.


Elsita is fluent in Spanish, English, French.

2002 - Elsita began her training assisting in ancient Mayan Temazcal rituals as well as working with the Yucatec Maya, thus gaining an understanding & respect for this way of life (Maroma Resort & Spa); and later, that of the Tzotzil and Wixáritari Maya in 2006 whilst living and working on Mexico’s Pacific coast (Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita).

2009 - Following an impossible personal quest to find someone, on the brink of giving up, Elsita experienced her first encounter with the Master Plants who, astonishingly, guided her safely to where this person was.

2015 - Elsita began her deep connection with ceremonial-grade Cacao (Rebekah Shaman)

2016 - Elsita furthered her shamanic training with Soul Retrieval, Power Animal allies, Past Life Healing, De-Possession, Extraction, Empowerment Journeys, et al. (Warrior in the Heart), and channeling to the spirit & elemental world (Starlight Temple)

2018 - She undertook initiations with sacred Tabacco and healing Andean medicine songs, master plant dietas, and provided in-service assistance during sacred master plant ceremonies (Sofia Buchuck)

2020 - Deep shadow 5-Elements work; Guardianship & Home Portal Activation initiation to energetically clear & cleanse properties & energetic portals (Starlight Temple)

2021 - Vocal & music work for healing.

2022 - Elsita began to work directly with her Ancestors. Then after 7 years of spiritually working with Cacao, Elsita received La Medicina's call to be in service with sacred Cacao (Rebekah Shaman).

2023 & 2024 - Elsita commenced her Encaminamiento ('walking the path'), an initiation and apprenticeship of the Mayan Cosmovision in the context of sacred Cacao and sacred Cacao ceremonies; as well as Mayan Bodywork (Nana Marina, of the spiritual path of Tata Pedro, k'u'xYa').

Elsita was inspired to try Kinesiology.

This was one of the most powerful and transformative decisions she made in her life: Asking her body through muscle biofeedback what IT needed in order to heal.

In 2016 Elsita began studying Health Kinesiology and Touch for Health Kinesiology and as a result she is now a certified Health Kinesiologist (London School of Kinesiology).

In 2020, as per industry guidelines, she updated her international certification to Natural Bioenergetics Specialist.

Health Kinesiology addresses psychological, emotional, physiological, spiritual, or auric issues, lifestyle, environment, behavioural patterns, and belief systems.

Elsita believes this modality works efficiently and effectively to tackle the root cause of any issue without the need of getting into ‘the story’.

Elsita has worked internationally with domestic, rescue, farm, wild, zoo, and equine animals as a qualified practitioner (Healing Animals Organisation) in energy healing, animal communication, veterinary-trained basic first aid, physical therapy massage (for canine & equine only), nutrition, and natural plant & herbal remedies as a self-selection process to enhance an animal's recovery, relaxation, diet, physical, mental, emotional, psychological health and wellbeing. Her work with animals also includes space and energetic clearing.

In 2019, Elsita SANA formed an alliance with a zoorefuge in Ecuador (Tarqui Zoorefugio),alongside the Healing Animals Organisation, offering Latin America's first-ever sensory enrichment and research program for animals.

Elsita has learnt that animals and humans are not so dissimilar as first meets the eye.
